“I encountered the healing art of Jin Shin Jyutsu and began my studies in 1998. The experience of daily self-help, working with clients, and continuing my Jin Shin Jyutsu studies has been truly life transforming. I am fortunate to work doing what I love, utilizing this spectacularly simple and powerful healing art as a tool to help myself and others recover and reinforce good health. I am grateful to my clients who, because they have discovered the value of Jin Shin Jyutsu and of my work, enable me to help them to their best health.”
What are the benefits of Jin Shin Jyutsu?
Jin Shin Jyutsu is usually referred to as energy work and has roots common to acupuncture. Of the energy modalities such as Reiki, Acupressure and Shiatsu, Jin Shin Jyutsu is unique in that, by utilizing pulse listening, as in Traditional Chinese Medicine, the practitioner ascertains overloads or insufficiencies at the level of EFFECT in the organ function energies (lung, large intestine, stomach, spleen, heart, small intestine, bladder kidney, diaphragm, umbilicus, gall bladder and liver function energies), and at the level of CAUSE on the pre-manifested level. Dozens of specific “flows” or series of Jin Shin Jyutsu holds are employed to help the body to reestablish the revitalizing life force or chi and bring about harmony.
Will Jin Shin Jyutsu help me?
The body is generally working to heal itself all the time. In most cases, ailments the body manifests are naturally addressed utilizing the body’s own healing mechanisms. Jin Shin Jyutsu works at the level of cause to help the body utilize its own healing capacities. When Jin Shin Jyutsu is experienced in conjunction with, or in place of, drugs or invasive procedures, one is lending support to the body’s systems rather than suppressing or eliminating symptoms and then dealing with the side-effects. These systems are precise and are ultimately responsible for healing that takes place. But sometimes these systems need help. Jin Shin Jyutsu provides that help, simply and naturally. Jin Shin Jyutsu elegantly and precisely releases and ignites the body’s own healing capacities in exactly the measure the body is calling for. It must be said that Western medical procedures and pharmaceuticals are particularly valuable for many, many ailments; Jin Shin Jyutsu does not replace, and is often utilized in conjunction with, Western interventional procedures and/or pharmaceuticals as a complement to these forms of treatment.
